WE'RE BACK!!!!!!!!

WOW, all I can say is WOW. What an amazing 2 weeks our family has had. I don't really know how to organize this entry, so I am just going to put it in chronological order.

Shiloh and Scott got to our house Wednesday night. I am so glad we got to see Addy before we left.

Hysterical!

Happily, she recovered!

Quarter Sale fun!

Daddy, I mean Grandpa, and Addy. It's even funnier when Shiloh says it. Scott's a good sport :)

So, Thursday morning we headed to the airport and left our children in the capable hands of Shiloh. Our trip is included in the two blogs over on the right of this page. Our Road to Ethiopia is a general overview of our trip and the Our Adoption of Love is a more personal story of our whole adoption experience. What an amazing opportunity our family has been given.

Shiloh had a great week with the kids. She stayed with them while we were in Ethiopia and while we took her home, my mom stayed with them. They loved having both of them there. All of them did great and were very helpful. I am so glad I have such great kids that we can leave them and have them cooperate and help each other. Thanks you guys!

Cam taking charge of scriptures. Thanks cam.

Koli had his Blue and Gold Scout night while we were gone. He had a great time and was happy to have Shiloh and Scott there. Josh is a Den chief for the wolves and he has done a great job as well. I'm glad everyone had a great time and way to go Blue and Gold committee!

Our one day home between a 2 day flight and then taking Shi to Rexburg. This is the only pic I got of Koli because we were late getting there. He didn't mind. He got to race and he did his car all by himself while we were gone.

One our way to Rexburg. We thought we'd stop and eat something. Oh my gosh, it was soooooo windy and cold! The sun was deceiving and I thought Dallas would appreciate these pics. I think these people are nuts! Just eat fresh fish in the summer and throw some in the freezer for the winter! :)

James' 3 day beard. By the way, did I mention we stopped in Beirut Lebanon on our way home from Addis? :)

James doing the famous "Shall we dance, cha cha cha" with Addy

The drive home from Rexburg. Ugh!

Just walking in the door from taking Shiloh and Addy back to Rexburg. I have a son thrilled to show me his bow he made and a daughter stressing that her tennis uniform doesn't touch the ground when she kneels. All I could say was, "Great bow Levi and Ali - BYU has tennis so only wear your uniform when you have a match." Glad to have a daughter who cares!

Levi is prepping for St. Patrick's Day Eve and the Leprechaun traps he intends to build.

Trying to enjoy what sunshine there is. It's been pretty sparse, so the kids are taking every opportunity they can.
