January is over!

Wow, January went by fast! We had a very busy month. James held another wonderful stake conference. The theme was the Temple. The Sat session was great. James taught what he called "a simple seminary lesson" but I am still hearing about how awesome and inspiring it was to others. James and I had the opportunity to meet with a general authority by the name of Elder Callister. He conducted a fireside for nonmembers and new members that was fabulous. Then we met with him and the other stake presidents, their wives, and the mission president. He gave a beautiful talk on missionary work, and some interesting and great instructuction to the stake presidents. He was a very humble, loving, and serving man. James also started ward confrences, the kids went back to school, James and I attended the Temple several times with missionaries leaving from our stake and with the stake presidency and bishops and their wives. The highlight I must say though, was little Levi turning one. I just can't believe it. He went to the doctor a week and a half before he was 11 months for a check up and shots. He weighed 17.6 lbs. and was 29-1/2 inches. One of the questions on the little form you fill out was is your child taking steps without help? I answered yes and then no to the next question - is your child walking across a room alone. Well, no sooner did we go home, go to bed, and then wake up and Levi began to walk like a maniac. And I mean that literally. Side-ways, forward, backward, and in circles. He has been on the move since. As a matter of fact, his favorite thing now is to try to run and kick a ball at the same time. It is so funny to watch this little thing move so quickly. He is such a joy. His favorite presents were money he could chew on, a spiderman he could call his own, and all the wrapping paper that made such great noise.
Another highlight for the kids was an unexpected week off from school due to snow. Even Shiloh had college off a few days. It was funny to watch them get up at 5:30 to check the news in hopes that they could "sleep in" for the day. Crazy kids!

Well, here are some pictures from the month. We hope you are all doing well and our prayers are with you. Talk to you again in March! :)

Wrestling season is over. Shane did
very well. Official record was 6 wins
2 losses. 2 of those wins were varsity
matches.

Tony failed to escape injury
on his sledding run. He said
the jump was really high though.

I think Tony and Ryan had a little
too much time on their hands.

Shiloh's best friend left for college
in Rexburg, but that hasn't stopped
them from keeping in touch!

Levi's excited reaction to Grandma
Lee's presant.

Levi playing Bob the Builder

Happy birthday to Levi!

The week off from school at a glance.

Love to you all!!!! Until next time.
