August - Part 2

We had a very nice end to summer vacation. Here are a few of our August memories.

This is a common occurance for Levi. Step 1 - Hey, I want something.
Step 2 - Okay fine, I'll get it myself.

Step 3 - Almost there.

Step 4 - Hey, what happened? How did I end up on the floor?!

Fun at the river

Lisa getting a baby fix

Levi exploring the bathroom

More fun at Bear Lake

A few of many more to come I'm sure, of Shiloh's senior pictures.

An attempt at keeping a handle on Levi! Just kidding, he actually got in himself and wanted to eat dinner in there.

I can't believe school has started. I also can't believe Koli Poki is in kindergarten. I only have 2 preschoolers. What's happened to me? Caleb is so cute. He likes his teacher and likes eating lunch at school.
Katie is in 2nd grade and loves her teacher. She is very upbeat and creative. Katie says she's "kind of crazy". What a perfect teacher for 2nd grade.
Becca is in 3rd grade and feels very grown up. She lines up clear around the back of the school. She likes her teacher and is already the teacher's right-hand girl.
Josh is in 4th grade and upstairs in the school. He thinks that's pretty cool. He also spent his first week serving lunch. He had a whole act for passing out the milk. He did a little dance and song. The teachers were all cracked up and asked him what he was doing. He replied, "The milk needs some advertising, it does a body good". We definitely have a comedian on our hands.
Alison is the big guru this year; 6th grade. She has used the school camera to take all the pics for her class's open house presentation and has spent a lot of time on the computer for the teacher. I'm sure she's doing some school work in there.

Cameron rides his bike to the middle school now for 7th grade. He is in honor's classes and is doing cross country. He likes it so far and he says the best thing is the lunches are a huge improvement. So far he's been very responsible about his homework. He told me the time for fooling around was over. I said, "Cameron, did you used to fool around?" He answered with his sly grin, "Oh of course not mom." Turkey!
Tony is in high school. I can't believe it. He is the cutest freshman I've ever seen. He loves having lunch and seminary with dad. He also has seminary with Shauna. I asked how that was and his response was, "Man Shauna is a flirt!" I can see I'll have no trouble keeping tabs on Shauna!
Speaking of which, here she is in 10th grade. I can see I will have to keep the boys back with a stick. Or, Shane and Tony both have made it very clear they'll help out in any way. I'm sure I'll take them up on it. The good news is, when she turns 16 in February, she'll have Shane and Shiloh to double with.
Shane is in 11th grade and enrolled in running start at SCC. He and Shiloh have Spanish and a stress management class together. They are excited about that. They technically don't start til the 22, so they've been enjoying their free time. They do drive out to East Valley everyday for Seminary.
And here she is, my senior. I really didn't realize how fast this would sneak up on me. I love having Shiloh home. I love this running start thing. She is working at the elementary school as an aid. The kids love seeing her at lunch time. They tell me their friends say she is the nicest aid.

Here they are in their classrooms.

And here are the rest of us left at home

Well, there you have it. The year, as it is, has begun. Already I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. Until next time - Love, the Lee's
