Okay - Forget getting caught up!

Today the kids had a cross country race. They all run 1 mile. We had some surprises and some correct predictions. They all did well.

Koli was the prediction winner. He ran with a smile and not a care in the world. He didn't do badly - he was 23rd out of 59 - but he was more concerned with the fact that he won a candy for being 1st to the carpet in class than running. How sweet he is. Reminds me of Tony's first race.

Katie was the shocker of the day! She won, and won fairly substantially. I don't even know if Katie has run an entire mile without stopping in practice. She's been holding out! I asked if she knew she'd be first and she said, "I thought it would be easier to run in front of the group than behind other people". Well, her strategy worked.

Becca was her stuborn little self, but she too surprised us with her speed. She battled to stay in the top 3. She got a close 3rd at the very end. She ran a great race.

Josh was a prediction that he would give it his all and be competative. The surprise was how fast he ran. There were 3 boys in the front who were way ahead of the others. Josh and the 2 from Logan ran together the whole way and Josh got 3rd. I'm not sure of the time, but it was surprisingly fast.

I should mention that Shauna is doing cross country and is the number 5 spot on varsity. I don't have any pics because I haven't been to a race yet. Cam and Ali are doing tennis club at Garry and LOVE it. Alison really loves the game. - huh.
Anyway, things are good and I'll try to sneak a few reviews in soon.
