Well, it happened. Shauna turned 17 and we all protested, but it happened anyway. She had a fun birthday weekend with a date on Friday night, a family get together and birthday party for my niece on Saturday, a date Saturday night, a family dinner on Sunday, and a dinner out with mom, dad, and grandma. We got her running shoes for track and a necklace she likes but probably not as much as the one her friend, yes a boy, made for her. She also got some cute clothes and another cute necklace from grandma and a card with money (the best universal gift card) from her out-of-town grandma. All in all, a nice celebration. She will get her license in April or May. Another driver! We love you Shauna!
