What a Happy 4th of July it was!!

We had a wonderful 4th of July. It began with a flag Ceremony which included Koli, Tony, and James (Cam and Josh went to scout camp)and a pancake breakfast at the church. Our ward does great activities. This was put on by the 11 year old scouts. Thanks Craig.

Then we came home to find Shane on the computer. Shauna and Tony got to e-mail back and forth for a few minutes. It was great. When we are both on the computer together, even for just enough time to e-mail "hey, i love you" back and forth, I feel like he is not so far away. He is doing great by the way. You can read his letters on his blog. The link is to the right.

Then we had James' family over. It was a wonderful time. Food, water, play, and visiting. We were so happy to see Grandma and JA. We did miss Matt and Sylivia's family. They were busy settling in with a NEW BABY! Congrats you guys!
The there were the fireworks. We went, on the advice from Courtney and Alicia, to Suncrest. It was the best show we've seen. EVERYONE loved it.

And then home again (only a 45 minute drive compared to an almost 2 hour drive from Deer Park). James LOVED that. What a great day. Having Josh and Cam home is the only thing we missed; well, Shiloh and Scott and Shane also:) I love family and traditions.
