A Week with Dad

So, James had to take work off this week due to his surgery.  We let the kids each pick a day to stay home with him.  Here are some pictures from the week.  The weather was mostly nice so we had fun.

Monday Josh and Becca stayed home.  Some of the other kids were in the field on the other side of the fence running their mile for PE and they were so jealous.  They got to play in the water when they got home.

Tuesday Koli stayed home.  They went to Walmart and the dollar store and got snacks to take on a bike ride to the park.  Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me.  We had a fun afternoon.

Wednesday Tony and Levi choose to go to the Apple store and Riverfront park.  We replaced James' I Pod (it had a cracked screen) and a great day at the park.

Thursday I had a bunch of kids at the dentist and then Ryan stayed home.  He and James went to the dollar store and then had a Nintendo war.  Ryan says he won.  I'll just take his word for it.

Friday Katie stayed home and she and James went to Cam's Tennis tournament with Levi and then out to lunch while I did the quarter sale.  Then they played card games till the kids got home.  We all watched a movie and then James and I went to Chinese and hiked our Tum Tum property.  It was beautiful.

Saturday we did some yard work and then the scout spaghetti feed and auction.  A pretty nice week.  J

James goes back to work on Monday and we won't know what to do with ourselves.  Well, I'll be catching up on all the chores I let slide while he was home :)

AND... we got word that Daniel has cleared Embassy and now we are just waiting on Jet!  Hopefully not too much longer.
