Really enjoying Summer!

We had a great week.  We had a busy week.  The boys went camping (the priests) and another set of boys went camping at camp cowels to prepare the area for the encampment.  The girls were gone to girl's camp (boy did I miss them) and Danny continued to go to his school camp.  Tony and Josh went with him this week.  Sooo, the younger kids and I spent some quantity and quality time together.  Katie and I ran a few girl errands and the boys and I did lots of swimming.  It was hot and we loved it.  The highlight of the week was us all reuniting to spend Saturday afternoon at the park with my family.  It was my nephew's birthday and we had great fun.  These are the pictures I took. :)

The party was a pirate theme and as you can see, they spent a lot of time in the trees and in the water!

James found a new friend and took advantage of his talents and interests!

David and Goliath :)

This guy (I can't remember his name) was from Nigeria and played college ball for Minnesota.  James recognized him and said, "hey, come join our game".  Probably not the group he was originally thinking of playing with that day, but he played and they all had a great time.  He was really nice and talked to Danny and held Jet.  I wasn't around, obviously - no pictures, for it, but James said he was great.  It turns out he has been to the Indiana Bldng a couple of times for church with a friend and James invited him to call us and come over some time.  We'll see what happens.  He was really cute with the kids.  He thought Josh was full of about as much fire and spunk as he'd ever seen.  :)

These pics are just random from the week.

Two cutie pa-tuties!
I gave myself a haircut and cut off 5 inches off the back.  I did this while my girls were gone and therefore had to rely on Tony to cut across the back for me.  He nervously chuckled the whole time but did a pretty good job.
Alison showing off all the natural highlights in her hair that most people pay good money for.  Punk!
The girls were so tickled that their dad would wear their crown.  Our neighbor also thought it was funny.  He's more accustomed to seeing him in a motorcycle helmet!

Danny added bread and peanut butter to his pancakes and peanut butter.  He was so delighted with himself!

Tony, the camera man, also got a big kick out of it.

Tony took these while I was at the store.  He is SOOOOO cute!

And PS - tomorrow, the 23rd, marks the day 23 years ago that James asked me to marry him.  I remember it like it was yesterday.  What an amazing 23 years it's been.  I was the luckiest girl then and I still am!!!!!
