Has it been 2 weeks?

Yes, it has been two weeks; two very busy weeks.  We are all adjusting well.  We have had a lot of fun and have taken care of business.  Jet and Daniel had their doctor appointments and they are both healthy.  They are behind on shots so Danny got 6 and Jet got 4.  They also had blood work done which looked good.  We have had some fun times at the lake and fun times in the pool.  We also have been anxious to leave for our vacation/reunion to McCall ID.  We leave on the 4th.  We also had some sadness.  Our beloved music teacher Janice Newell passed away this week.  She died from cancer.  Our children loved her and learned so much from her in music and in life.  She was a bright light at Whitman and will be deeply missed.  We also have grown to love her sweet husband and talented children.  She has been an amazing wife and mother.  It has been a true joy to have her part of our lives.  These are just some random pictures.  Also, Tony is not going to have birthday pictures.  I have given up.  He went to lunch with us and we took him shopping.  It was fun.  He was able to get 2 pair of jeans, some shorts, a white shirt, and we brought home an Ethiopian "football" shirt.  He had several birthday dinners as it turned out and he did blow a candle out on his grad party treats.  I guess that all counts. :)

We went to our property at Tum Tum and it was so fun to watch Danny look at everything.  It was especially funny to watch his eyes get big when he was in the back of the truck and we were driving up the mountain.  We also went to the river after the property but my camera batteries died.  When we got out of the truck he looked at James and said with giant eyes, "Daddy, NO swim.  Too BIG"  I don't think he's ever seen a lake or a real river.  He eventually got in holding James' hand the entire time.  Jet on the other hand wouldn't get out.  I was afraid he was going to have hypothermia.

More of the simple joys in life.  :)

Chillin!

Is he growing up or what?

Our second time at the lake.  Danny was much more adventurous and the all the kids had a great time. We took a picnic lunch.  It was fun.

 This baby loves his watermelon.

 And his cookies!

Too much Fun!  We love you Shane!  We know you are having fun too, I'm so glad you love what you do. :)
